BIS Data Assistant
Tamper-proof gold measurement for the Government of India

The problem
The Bureau of Indian Standards needed a system that connects directly to laboratory balances, records gold purity measurements, and stores results in a way that makes data manipulation physically impossible. This is government-grade work. It has to be bulletproof.
What we built
A desktop application using Electron.js with direct serial port communication to Radwag balances. The database is insert-only. Once a measurement goes in, nobody can edit or delete it. Automated calculations for Fineness, Delta, and Repeat Ability. Role-based access. Color-coded audit logs.
The timeline
4 weeks from requirement to deployment.
The result
In daily use at BIS facilities. Zero data tampering incidents. The client later commissioned three additional desktop applications from us.
